TV is coming back this week and of course I can't wait for Gossip Girl. But there were a few reality shows that quenched my TV thirst during the writer's strike. The networks took GG and Heroes and Grey's Anatomy from me. But in turn I learned to love:
The Bachelor: London Calling
I've never been into the Bachelor before. The last time I watched, it was 2001 and Andrew Firestone was making it happen. My friend Christos is really into it though and convinced me that it was worth watching. Monday night was for The Bachelor and The Hills. The Bachelor hooked me. The Hills still makes me vomit. I think there are only two more episodes of The Bachelor left so get while the getting's good. I have never seen a cast of more pathetic women and I love sharing in their miseries. If you go on a show to meet a man, I'm sorry--you will be made fun of. The bachelor himself is a Brit named Matt and he's looking for an American lady/Green Card Maker to take home for tea and scones. At first I thought he was charming. It's now been about 5 episodes and I think he's a complete freakshow who is fat but hides it well under his clothes. The girls are the best though and Shayne is my hands-down fav. She's 22 and "hates seeing Matt with the other girls." She is an actress and comes from a family of actors. Maybe you've heard of her dad: LORENZO LAMAS.
He's going to be on the episode on Monday so NEVER MISS IT.
There are two other shows that I am currently obsessed with but don't have the time to write my comments so you should google them:
The Real Housewives of New York
and
Keeping Up The Kardashians
and
Keeping Up The Kardashians
Khloe Kardashian is my idol.
