Last night by some amazing twist of fate Xtos, Josh and I got to go to this private party at this bar on the Lower East Side that was hosted by Lady Gaga and some friends of hers, one of whom who is the friend of a friend and that's how we got in. (Who loves what a small world New York is? ME!!!)

I KNOW. IT'S LIKE WINNING THE LOTTERY.

We'd been there for about 15 minutes and SHE CAME IN. Literally, she was standing THREE FEET AWAY FROM ME. She was standing in the corner and Xtos, Josh and I are literally practically right beside her at the bar. At one point she and I made eye contact and I GOT A SMILE. Ya heard??  So Xtos is standing closest to her and he decides do the damn thing and he goes up to her. Transcribed conversation below (as related by Xtos):

Xtos: "I definitely want to let you enjoy your new years but I'll be brief. I may seem cool, calm and collected but I'm a little monster and I'm perhaps one of your biggest fans"

Gaga turns to her boyfriend: "Babe! He's a fan!" (she was genuinely happy)

Boyfriend: "Everyone's a fan baby." (Note: This was not as cute as it reads)

Xtos: First of all, I love the album cover. And I can't wait for Born This Way.

Gaga: It's not the album cover.

At this point there's a sentence that we just don't remember but it lead into -

Gaga: I just want you to know that I really want to do the work.

Xtos: Dude, you don't even need to say that - it's readily apparent. I don't know if I can make it til May and I'm sure you get off on this shit so enjoy it.

(There were 3 hugs and 3 kisses given - times unknown)

Xtos: I want to thank you for a great 2010 and I want to thank you in general
(hug and kiss followed for sure here)

Xtos: I'm about to pull an all nighter like a hooker on a church corner and it's all your fault

Gaga: You little bitch (this was said in the spirit of deep rooted love)


YES. THIS HAPPENED. I WATCHED THIS HAPPEN. No, I didn't talk to her myself but I was WATCHING HER TWEET THE BORN THIS WAY INFO AT MIDNIGHT. She tweets herself!! And I'll never the forget the smile even if it was meant for someone behind me.
